On a related note:
Some time ago I pointed on this mailing list the need for a tool to
help handling that particular situation.
(I have a case where I need to be able to work/debug and build 150+
projects/source-repos locally...)
I imagined a tool based on my team's experience and our current
solution (which is not very good) but based on build2 (or more
exactly, that would benefit from knowing that the projects are using
build2).
My ideas are described in this thread:
https://lists.build2.org/archives/users/2018-November/000509.html
Reading this discussion will probably not help your specific case, but
if you have some feedback on this tool idea, feel free to discuss them
in the thread or to contact me directly.
I'm interested in other's perspective because I might end up having to
develop such a tool anyway (based on build2 + git).
