[build2] build w gcc 8.1.1 + c++1y fails

 Hello,

While trying to build build2, with  g++ --version
>>
> g++ (GCC) 8.1.1 20180712 (Red Hat 8.1.1-5)
> having left the default options (c++1y), I have the attached errors.
